PUBLIC HEALTH PHOTO EXHIBITION & COMPETITION

This call for photographs is especially for individuals and groups who are interested in photography and public health, a new dimension in conveying public health messages through to the community. The exhibition offers an excellent opportunity for young Public Health professionals and students to participate in an international conference.

The APACPH Early Career Network (ECN) organizes this photo exhibition annually, in collaboration with the 44th APACPH Conference. Selected photographs will be displayed at the conference venue in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Attractive prizes and certificates will be awarded to the winners and certificates of participation will be awarded to all submissions that have been selected for display.

The ECN and the Conference organizers invite submissions for this Photo Exhibition from delegates, Public Health professionals and students with an interest in photography and Public Health.

Submission criteria
Any photograph with a Public Health message related to the Conference Theme and Sub-themes (http://apacph2012.org/index.php/theme-atopic ) or the history of APACPH will be welcomed. One participant can submit up to five photographs. Submissions can be in colour or in monochrome.

Attendance/registration of the 44th APACPH conference in Colombo is not a requirement for submission. Please note that files will not be returned.

The copyright of the submissions is retained by the photographer. However, APACPH reserves the right to use submitted photographs as educational and promotional material.

Selection of photographs

An independent panel of judges will select the photographs that will be displayed at the exhibition. Invited judges will select the winning photographs during the conference. The decision of the judges is final.
